Call for Papers – GEEM 2025

The Call for Papers at GEEM 2025 is a global invitation for educators, researchers, and practitioners to share their original research, case studies, and practice-based insights that shape the future of entrepreneurship education. 

GEEM 2025 is a space for discussion and a call to action to co-create entrepreneurial education models that prepare learners to navigate uncertainty and lead transformative changes in their communities and beyond.

What We're Looking For

Original Research

Empirical or theoretical studies that deepen understanding of EE and its role in preparing future-ready learners.

Case Studies

Real-world examples of programs, initiatives, or policies that showcase innovation and impact in diverse educational settings.

Practice-based Insights

Field-based reflections or strategies that highlight practical approaches, challenges, and lessons learned in implementing EE.

Call for Paper Guide - Everything You Need to Know

Format and Structure

Authors will submit an abstract of up to 500 words. Submissions should clearly outline the purpose, methodology, key findings, and relevance to entrepreneurship education. Selected papers will undergo a peer-review process and be considered for publication in the Entrepreneurship Educations’ Journal (Springer). From all submissions, 10 articles will be shortlisted, with a maximum of 6 papers accepted for the final special issue.

In addition, there is an opportunity for selected submissions to be featured in the GEEM 2025 Case Study Book, which will highlight 10 impactful, real-world initiatives that demonstrate innovation and relevance in entrepreneurship education.

Paper Themes

We invite contributions that explore a wide range of issues shaping the future of entrepreneurship education (EE). Key themes include:

Innovative teaching & learning in EE

Higher education in the relevance of EE

Technology-enhanced entrepreneurship education

Entrepreneurial mindset and intention

Education for social innovation and impact entrepreneurship

Navigating uncertainty and teaching resilience

Policy frameworks and governance

EE for inclusivity

Submissions may address one or more of these areas, offering fresh perspectives, research, or practice-based insights.

What to Submit

Authors will submit a structured abstract (max 500 words). The abstract should present the background and purpose of the study, research questions or objectives, methodology, key findings or insights, and the contribution or relevance to entrepreneurship education.

The author bio (max 150 words) should briefly describe your professional background, research focus, and experience related to entrepreneurship education or relevant practice.

The academic committee will review all submitted abstracts. Selected authors will submit full papers for peer review. Final papers may be considered for publication in the Entrepreneurship Educations’ Journal (Springer) or featured in the GEEM 2025 Case Study Book.

Notification of Acceptance
10 June 2025

Authors whose abstracts are accepted will receive official notification via email. The notification will include reviewer feedback and guidelines for preparing the full paper.

Full Paper Deadline Submission
15 July 2025

Authors whose abstracts are accepted must submit their full manuscripts for peer review. Only completed papers submitted will be eligible for publication and presentation at GEEM 2025.
