Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM)
Call for Fireside Speakers
GEEM 2025 invites educators, changemakers, youth leaders, social entrepreneurs, and policymakers to join our Fireside Chat series—a space for authentic, story-driven dialogue that goes beyond theory and dives deep into the lived realities of entrepreneurship education.
This is not your typical panel. It is a conversation with purpose, where your challenges, breakthroughs, failures, and insights can spark transformation, shift perspectives, and build a shared understanding of what it truly means to lead in today’s entrepreneurial learning landscape.
We are seeking speakers who can:
Share real stories from their experiences implementing Entrepreneurship Education (EE)
Reflect on personal lessons, turning points, and unspoken challenges
Inspire others with honest narratives that connect local practice to global change
Provide practical wisdom and actionable takeaways for educators, students, and systems
Fireside Chat speakers will share authentic stories, reflect on challenges and lessons learned, and offer insights that link personal practice to broader change in entrepreneurship education (EE). Sessions aim to spark new perspectives and provide practical recommendations for future-ready, human-centered EE.
Each session will run for 90 minutes and feature 3–4 speakers and a moderator in an informal, reflective conversation. The last 15–20 minutes aim to engage the audience and reflection.
Fireside Chat sessions will explore bold, reflective themes of entrepreneurship education (EE). Topics may include such as:
“From Curriculum to Culture: When EE Becomes a Way of Life,”
“Teaching in Transition: Navigating EE in Times of Crisis,”
“My Community, My Classroom: Grounding EE in Local Wisdom,”
“Failures, Doubts, and Breakthroughs: The EE Stories We Rarely Tell,” and
“Beyond Startups: Rethinking EE for Resilience and Purpose.”
We also welcome fresh, thought-provoking story angles that challenge convention and inspire deeper dialogue.
To be considered a Fireside Chat speaker, please submit: (1) a proposed theme or story angle (max 200 words) highlighting the core of your experience and its relevance to entrepreneurship education, (2) include a brief speaker bio (max 150 words) outlining your background and key contributions, (3) you’re also welcome to share links to previous talks, publications, or public appearances reflecting your voice and perspective, and additionally (4) you may submit an optional 1-minute intro video or voice note—a personal glimpse into what drives you, what you’ve learned, and why this conversation matters. No need to be perfect—just be real and let your energy and passion shine through.
This is the final date to submit your proposal, including your story angle, speaker bio, and optional media. Early submissions are encouraged to allow for review and potential feedback.
Selected speakers will be notified by email. If your story is chosen, you will receive further instructions, session themes, and expectations for preparation.
A virtual onboarding session will be held to familiarize speakers with the session flow, fellow panelists, and moderators. This briefing ensures that conversations are connected, purposeful, and dynamic.
